Small town America, an oasis of quiet living where the only disturbances are the reliable ear-splitting tornado warning siren test every Monday morning, the neighbor's blown 69 camaro being cranked up on a Saturday morning, or the occasional blast from a train whistle as it slowly traverses through town. Is there something special about living in a small town? Are the masses of people that crowd themselves into large cities with highrise apartments and mass transit systems missing out? We don't have a superstore-shop-'til-you-drop-mega-mall, or a designer clothing store, but we have everything a person would need well within an afternoon walk or a short bike ride.
Summertime heat starting to drive you crazy? Let's walk down to one of our in-town parks where the newly installed water spray park will provide some much needed relief and certainly a smile. Grab a picnic lunch and you have found the formula for a complete afternoon of fun.
Perhaps you prefer a relaxing bike ride through the college campus to collect your thoughts.....er chase your kids, and yeah, there's water there too.
Start Here, Go Everywhere.

Let Freedom Ring
There is one day a year it is acceptable to let your "pyro" side show. Blowing stuff up is the norm, the bigger, the badder, the better!
This year we got together with some friends, ate some delicious food, pooled our resources, waited for dark, and put on one spectacular show. Of course, as with everything we do, (and my dad will appreciate this) Safety First!
Ahh, Fireworks!
Mr. Boyd and my Son
Waiting for dark
Shootin' some hoops
Rocket Balloons
Sparklers
The neighbors
The combo
